Summary
By delving deep into and solving customer pain points, we aim to create excitement for our customers and drive the growth of our company.
Despite the ongoing "Israeli-Palestinian conflict" and the constant risk of war, we are willing to go wherever our customers need us, even if it means stepping into the midst of gunfire. When we learned that our Egyptian clients were facing compatibility issues between the local ceramic tile material and our cutting machine (a common challenge faced by all ceramic tile cutting machines in the Egyptian and Middle Eastern markets due to the low hardness and high susceptibility to damage of the locally available tiles), our company's leadership took immediate action. They formed a dedicated "TILER Team" team consisting of five sales and technical experts. In mid-November 2023, the team embarked on a 13-hour long-haul flight, carrying four large boxes of tool components, to the Egyptian capital, Cairo, 13,000 kilometers away. Their mission was to conduct research, testing, and problem-solving for the challenges faced by our Egyptian clients.
Upon their arrival in Egypt, the team immediately immersed themselves in their work, disregarding the fatigue from the long journey. From 9 a.m. to midnight, and sometimes even until dawn, the team members collaborated closely with the Egyptian clients, conducting continuous testing and research. The domestic and international teams worked together simultaneously to implement improvements and conduct tests. The testing data was transmitted back to the company's headquarters in China, where the research and development team worked tirelessly to simulate and improve the relevant products based on the provided data. The refined technical parameters were then sent back to the Egyptian team for further testing and refinement according to the latest simulations provided by the domestic research and development team. This iterative process of testing and improvement, with efficient coordination between the internal and external teams, continued for a month, ultimately solving the compatibility issue between our products and the ceramic tile materials in Egypt. This breakthrough not only excited our Egyptian clients but also earned their utmost trust, enhancing our company's reputation and solidifying the confidence in our collaboration. It laid a solid foundation for further expansion into the Egyptian and Middle Eastern markets.
During the month-long "journey" in Egypt, the team purchased various types of ceramic tiles with different thicknesses, sizes, surfaces, and materials available in the local market for cutting and processing tests. The team faced numerous failures, but each small success filled them with excitement. The "TILER Team" persisted in continuous testing and improvement, resulting in the generation of a substantial amount of ceramic tile fragments weighing one ton.
One touching detail was when the clients noticed the modest living conditions and meals of our team, they genuinely expressed concern and asked, "Do you have enough money?" The care shown by the clients deeply moved our team members, even though they knew they were there to solve the client's problems, not to enjoy a luxurious lifestyle. The Egyptian clients not only fully cooperated with our team but also provided manpower, resources, and support. Their engineers accompanied and assisted our team throughout the testing and research process, staying by our side no matter how late we worked. Both sides dedicated tremendous efforts to overcome the long-standing "major challenge" in their market.
Our "TILER Team" faced many difficulties while being in a foreign country, which also tested each team member individually. Due to the six-hour time difference between China and Egypt, the technical personnel from both countries practically worked day and night. In terms of accommodation, our team members had to deal with the constant presence of cockroaches. The pleasant climate in Egypt provided an ideal environment for these pests, and sometimes they would crawl onto beds, pillows, or even arms during the night. Our team members often woke up in the middle of the night to fight them off, resulting in sleep deprivation. Additionally, due to differences in dietary culture and adjusting to the local environment, our technical personnel experienced consecutive episodes of diarrhea and fever. Nevertheless, they persevered with the determination to completely solve the clients' problems, fighting side by side with the Egyptian engineers, working early mornings and late nights, and persistently pushing forward. This selfless dedication to meeting the client's urgent needs, the unwavering spirit of never giving up, and the commitment to continuous improvement have not only earned high praise and recognition from our Egyptian clients but also established a strong brand image for our company. Moreover, it has accumulated valuable spiritual and experiential wealth for our company.
Consequently, the company promptly summarized an "Egyptian Mode" and decided to form a specialized technical testing and problem-solving team for daily research and development work. This team will conduct comprehensive testing of core products and optimize the entire production process to meet the ever-changing market demands and diverse customer needs. By delving deep into and solving customer pain points, we aim to create excitement for our customers and drive the growth of our company.
We firmly believe that through continuous efforts and unwavering pursuit, "TILER" will continue to maintain its leading position in the industry and provide customers with high-quality products and services!
