This cutter is a lot larger than I was expecting - 4' in length and can handle up to a 40" cut. The cutting head slides smoothly on the bar, and after a bit of practice you can make cuts very quickly using the plastic break bar just behind the cutting wheel. The laser is moderately useful - mostly when making sure your tile does not move when free-handing it. I have a large water-cooled electric tile cutter, and this manual cutter is great to have inside for quick cuts when the larger tile cutter doesn't make sense. For smaller projects, this cutter alone will do just fine.
